FLIP! I was so excited when Shari Johns of As You Wish Events confirmed the Reese-Holly wedding with me. Not only is Shari current President of the AACWP, but she has several beautiful weddings in her repertoire. I knew it would be a gorgeous event, but what a bonus that we would be using the one ballroom as ceremony and reception space. With her A-list of vendors working hand in hand with us, it went off without a hitch. Planning ahead for the placement of the chandeliers to be utilized within the ceremony side as well as the reception allowed for a smooth pre-setup. What a smart move! The large ballroom was split into two parts so that all tables and floral could be setup in a reasonable time frame. Chair rentals saved the Bride and Groom when we just pulled them from the ceremony into the reception. Once the ceremony concluded, timing was everything! Draping was removed and the tables were set in place. Shari had all floor plans ready to go so it was simple for everyone to be on the same page. What a well thought out and well planned event! It was wonderful to work with her, as well as the experienced staff at the Adolphus hotel, Dallas. Now on to the next one…
