Our lives become busy very easily with work, family, friends, and down time too. But, there is no greater feeling than making some time to do a little giving back. Heck, it can often times be a whole lot of fun as well. Hitched Events and Mockingbird Bridal Boutique teamed up for a fun-tastic event this past October. Cancer reaches so many people we know and the sooner someone is able to catch it the better their chances to beat it! The wonderful charity, The Bridge, donates medical care to those that can not afford it. For every dollar that was donated, Bridge clients received nearly 10 times that amount in medical care. Pink Pride Brides hosted by Kimberly Rhodes raised over $11,000.00 in medical care for local breast cancer patients, with this one event. Incredible job!
A HUGE Thank You to Kimberly and all the great girls that made this event so enjoyable! Just by showing up (having to be pampered by hair stylists and make up artists) I was able to meet new friends… share our business stories, some personal stories, and together entertain those awesome attendees who donated to the cause. Hope you find a charity or organization that speaks to you, so that you may find the joy of helping where you can with what you have.
