Elegant vintage themes with basic undertones have made a beautiful statement in recent weddings. Many brides are saying goodbye to hotel ballrooms, and round tables with chair covers, and opting for an eclectic and elegant alternative. Long tables with sophisticated lace, or a neutral sparkle runner are being crowned with lots of copper or gold votives and beautiful centerpieces full of blush and crème flowers and greenery. The vintage vibe from the décor meets the family style ambiance from the long tables and gives the room a gorgeous and welcoming glow.

From a form fitting dress, to the room décor, to the cake; these trends carry out beautifully through every aspect of a wedding. Cakes are going “back to basics” with a more naked look, but champagne and copper fondants with a touch of sparkle, or a metallic sheen, add a unique flair.  Adding a few peonies or a single flower can complete the look of the cake as well as add to the minimalist beauty.

While everyone wants their wedding to be perfect, most of all we hope for it to be memorable. It’s the small and simple things that give your guests a unique experience that they won’t forget. Welcome your guests to the cocktail hour or reception with your own specialty “signature drink”.  Spice up your champagne with rock candy, or offer a drink (or two!) that reflects your relationship or even your hometown. A signature drink is a simple and memorable way to add a hint of personality to your big day, not to mention it’s delicious and can even be adorably done!
