When I have the chance to head back to east Texas, where I am from, I jump at the opportunity! Granted, weddings in east Texas typically have touches of white-washed paint, vintage decor, and mason jars to your hearts content, but Dee was going to be a different kind-of bride, and I knew it when I first met her. The words “non-traditional” and “red dress” came up in our consult and I just fell in love with what she was envisioning!
Weddings with a modern touch really let me think outside of the box as I worked with her on the overall design and layout. We used Long Stem Cala Lilies and dark red heart roses, to imperial striped linens and a head table set for a King and Queen…The Wilson’s were going to have one gorgeous wedding unique to them! It is always very sweet to watch how friends and families come to celebrate together, but the Wilson’s guest list included many co-workers too! From the beautiful chapel ceremony to the cupcakes and dance lines, this group had such a great time!
A huge thank you goes out to the vendors that made this event incredible! It was a treat to get to know local vendors and be so impressed with what they bring to the table! Looking forward to my next event in the Tyler, Longview, and Palestine areas.
